Is it true that pot does less damage to you than alcohol? If true, should pot become legal in America?

Your exactly right, if legalized the price would plummet. Gangs and dealers would close up shop and move to the next illegal substance.

marijuana is much better than alcohol. for your body, for you mind, for your soul.
marijuana is harmless and should be legal everywhere. alcohol is responsible for more deaths per year than most illegal drugs combined, yet for some reason it is legal and weed isn’t. there have been no recorded fatalities blamed on marijuana. it’s entirely safe, all natural, and something that is a personal choice and what a person does in their spare time should be their own business.
tell me why my five ft tall girlfriend had to be taken to jail for possession of half a gram of marijuana while my six one 230lbs redneck friend merely got a two hundred dollar ticket for minor in consumption at a party?
